Awarded the Degree of Bachelor of Music from the Australian National University - Majoring in Composition for Film and Video Games, Will's most recent commissions were featured in programs for SBS, ABC and NITV. Predominantly, the content had been based on Indigenous Australian communities and its people, in the style of documentaries, docu-dramas and mini-series. Will has also composed music for specific scenes and opening themes, through a wide range of emotive expressions using classical orchestral arrangements, modern pop contemporary influences and sound design characteristics. Will's knowledge of traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander music and dance culture, extending to Melanesian and Polynesian repertoire is vital to his success. This includes the use of traditional instrumentation, vocalisation (solo, group or choral) interwoven with native languages if desired for a distinct element of authenticity. In addition to film scores, Will has composed for Musical Theatre, Contemporary Indigenous Dance, TV Commercials, Radio Jingles and more.
